Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Azure-based data solutions to support business objectives.
  • Manage Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Optimize data pipelines and workflows for enhanced performance and efficiency.
  • Implement data security and governance measures within the Azure platform.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest Azure tools and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support analytics and reporting initiatives by ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Azure Data Engineer should have:

  • 4+ years of experience with Azure data platforms (Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory, Data Warehouse)
  • Proficiency in Azure data services and tools, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar.
  • Understanding of data governance and security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
