Job Description

  • Develop the project implementation plan and prepare the technical bidding documents for the specialised project, assess the technical proposals, and collaborate with the company's bidding team to finalise the engineering bidding process.
  • Participate in design proposal reviews for specialised projects and oversee the approval of construction drawings.
  • Manage safety, quality, schedule, and cost control throughout the project, while ensuring on-site coordination to guarantee smooth project execution.
  • Address and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction phase of specialised projects.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Assume additional responsibilities in the absence of other professional engineers.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Internal Reporting: Report directly to the manager and coordinate relevant tasks with various departments within the company.
  • External Communication: Serve as the liaison with government departments and coordinate tasks with relevant suppliers.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Utility Engineer should have:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Automation, or a related field. Possession of relevant professional qualifications is preferred.
  • At least 3~5 years of experience in engineering construction with a master's degree, or 5~8 years with a bachelor's degree. Experience in automotive factory construction is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the construction processes, relevant laws and regulations, industry standards, and construction techniques at the project site.
  • Proficient in using commonly used office and design software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; knowledge of Chinese is preferred.
  • Strong comprehensive management skills in engineering construction, with the ability to communicate effectively, coordinate tasks, and work collaboratively with a team.
  • Good physical health, free from conditions or infections that may affect work performance.
  • A high level of responsibility and mission, strong professionalism, and enthusiasm for work. Ability to handle high-pressure situations, with a proactive, positive, and detail-oriented approach. Strong interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, and alignment with company culture.
