Malaysia HQ plays a key role in managing procurement operations for a leading financial institution. With a focus on operational excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic sourcing, they are expanding their procurement team to support indirect categories such as IT, marketing, and professional services.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities for indirect categories
  • Negotiate vendor contracts, renewals, and statements of work
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional commodity managers
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure SLA compliance
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and sourcing documentation
  • Ensure contracts are clear, commercially sound, and legally compliant

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operational Sourcing professional should have:

  • 3-5 years of procurement experience (Operational Sourcing or Senior Buyer level)
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English
  • Strong contract management and negotiation skills
  • Experience in indirect procurement (IT, marketing, banking categories) Will be plus point
  • Familiarity with procurement systems (Coupa preferred; SAP acceptable)
