This is a senior leadership role overseeing warehouse operation that supports business across Malaysia and Singapore. You'll manage a team of more than 50 staffs, drive operational efficiency, and ensure service levels are met while maintaining safety and cost control.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including space planning, safety (forklifts, trucks), and manpower management (local and foreign workers).
  • Lead a team of Assistant Managers, supervisors, and team leads to ensure smooth operations and SLA compliance.
  • Manage courier shipments to Singapore and monitor courier charges closely.
  • Drive cost control across packaging, manpower, and logistics.
  • Ensure warehouse safety standards are met and lead fire evacuation drills and safety programs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external logistics partners.
  • Report regularly on KPIs, cost per unit, and transportation costs.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision from the GM.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Warehouse Manager should have:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse and logistics, ideally in retail or e-commerce.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills; able to work independently.
  • Experienced in managing large teams and foreign worker arrangements.
  • Familiar with warehouse safety protocols and operational cost control.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
