They are currently looking for a Sales Engineer to manage commercial air conditioning sales in the Penang area.

Job Description

Here are the key responsibilities for the Sales Engineer position in commercial air conditioning sales:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to drive business growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the commercial HVAC market.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including site visits, product recommendations, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, service, and logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Achieve sales targets and prepare regular sales reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HVAC, building services, or commercial equipment sales is preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of air conditioning systems and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel within the Penang region
