They are seeking a Project Engineering Manager to spearhead strategic CAPEX initiatives, driving plant expansions, automation, and engineering excellence across their operations.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project engineering activities, from concept design to execution and commissioning.
  • Oversee multiple CAPEX projects including plant expansions, new line installations, automation, and utilities upgrades.
  • Drive project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder alignment to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, SHE, quality) to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team to strengthen technical capabilities and project execution skills.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Engineering Manager should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in the FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in an engineering setting
  • Problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, automation, and digitalization initiatives is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge and application of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
