The Senior Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in project management (plant expansions, upgrades or new process installations). The ideal candidate should have hands on experience with chemical plant operations, process engineering and plant equipment.

About Our Client

Our client is a well established MNC in the chemical additives manufacturing industry. They are currently looking for highly capable individuals to grow them to further heights.

Job Description

  • Manage and lead all phases of the project cycle from conceptual design through construction and activation.
  • Ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in project execution.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Champion safety practices within the project team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of project engineering experience in chemical manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and safety standards, with hands-on experience in industrial projects.
  • Proven expertise in project management, budgeting, and contractor supervision, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in project management principles and software, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
