Job Description

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to secure essential materials at competitive costs.
  • Manage and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with operational and ESG standards.
  • Lead negotiations and oversee long‑term contracts to ensure stable supply and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate shipments and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent operational disruptions.
  • Ensure strong governance by maintaining accurate procurement documentation and adhering to compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and lead procurement staff across multiple sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, and strategic procurement projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Procurement Manager should have:

  • Brings 10-15+ years of senior procurement leadership within heavy industrial sectors, with strong experience managing global suppliers, long‑term contracts, and complex, logistics‑driven supply chains.
  • Well‑versed in sourcing critical raw materials and operating in high‑stakes, 24/7 production environments where supply reliability is essential.
  • Combines strategic thinking with hands‑on problem‑solving, supported by strong negotiation skills, data‑driven decision making, and the ability to lead teams across multiple sites.
  • Holds a relevant degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business, with professional procurement certifications (CIPS/CPSM/MCIPS) viewed as a plus.
  • Familiarity with ESG‑aligned or sustainability‑focused procurement is a strong advantage.
