About Our Client

My client is a renowned MNC offering advanced and cost efficient water treatment solutions. They are setting up a new office in Malaysia and seeking for motivated and ambitious candidates to be part of the team.

Job Description

  • Develop PLC programs using tools like Unilogic, Visilogic, or equivalent for controlling water treatment systems, including setting up HMIs, alarms, and control protocols.
  • Engage in product design validation and innovate to enhance operating performance and efficiency.
  • Create Instrument and Control Engineering deliverables for project execution.
  • Develop specifications and datasheets for the procurement of instruments, control systems, and PLCs.
  • Prepare Cost Time Resources (CTRs), technical, and cost proposals for clients.
  • Coordinate with Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) contractors for construction and commissioning activities.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in process control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI) and IIOT systems (cloud, gateway, remote monitoring).
  • Strong understanding of process operating and control philosophy, with the ability to develop control system architecture, control narratives, control logic, control safeguarding systems, and interlocks.
  • Experience with network protocols (Modbus, Profibus) and IOT protocols (TCP/IP, OPCUA, MQTT).
  • Experience with wiring termination and instrument signal handling.
