Based in Malaysia, they have a strong presence in the market and are known for their top-quality, innovative products and solutions.Job DescriptionDesign and develop mock-ups for assembly groups, including detailed drive systems and mechanical components.Create precise dimensions and specifications for mechanical and motion components, ensuring proper fit and functionality.Select appropriate standard and complex purchased parts based on project requirements.Conduct design reviews and approve assemblies for release to production.Prepare and verify manufacturing documentation such as detail and assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and test/assembly instructions.Develop and review pneumatic circuit diagrams to support mechanical designs.Generate sensor and actuator lists to guide the electronic design process.Perform hazard analyses and risk assessments in compliance with CE safety regulations.Innovate and implement new mechanical hardware solutions (e.g., guidance systems, pneumatic applications, spring mechanisms) aligned with evolving technologies.Define spare and wear parts for maintenance and servicing requirements.Process change requests and document errors or revisions accordingly.Maintain and update technical drawings and production documents.Prepare customer-specific and internal BOMs for project requests.Manage and oversee smaller-scale development projects, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project leads.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Mechanical Design Engineer should have:Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Proficient in CAD software, with a strong emphasis on SolidWorks.Familiarity with ISO standards; knowledge of CE regulations is a plus.Understanding of electrical and pneumatic drive systems.Cross-disciplinary knowledge in mechatronic assembly design, including collaboration with electronics and software teams.Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and proactively.Demonstrates a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across departments to tackle complex challenges.The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Experience in guiding junior engineers is a significant advantage.What's on OfferA competitive salary package ranging from MYR 7,000 to MYR 10,000.Performance, attendance, and contractual bonuses.Comprehensive medical coverage including clinic visits, checkups, dental and eyewear benefits for staff and family.Additional leave for Saturday holidays.If you are a driven individual who enjoys the challenges and rewards of a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
