Known for its commitment to innovation and quality, the company has a broad market reach and offers a diverse, inclusive work environment.Job DescriptionProvide legal guidance and support across transactions, projects, and day-to-day business operations, with responsibilities including the negotiation of various contracts such as construction, financing, and supplier/customer agreements.Manage corporate governance, regulatory compliance, licensing matters, and corporate secretarial duties for the group of companies in Malaysia, including liaising with relevant authorities.Lead dispute resolution processes and oversee investigations when necessary.Coordinate and supervise external legal counsel on a broad spectrum of legal matters.Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.The Successful ApplicantA Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) with a strong academic record / called to the Malaysian Bar with at least 10 years of relevant legal experience, gained either in a law firm or in-house, preferably within the construction sector.In-depth expertise in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on project financing and construction.
