Job Description

  • Draft, assess, and finalize a wide range of high-value commercial, procurement, and service agreements across the energy and oil field services industry.
  • Provide pragmatic and business-oriented legal support to senior management, ensuring operational decisions comply with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Oversee the engagement and performance of external law firms, managing litigation, dispute resolution, and overall legal spend to secure efficient outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive compliance reviews and due diligence on representatives, distributors, and third-party partners to safeguard ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with supply chain and contracting teams to design adaptable agreement templates, negotiation guides, and standardized documentation suited to regional markets.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability by reinforcing strong corporate governance and ethical practices throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate closely with global and regional legal functions to ensure cohesive implementation of legal strategies and consistent risk management practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognized institution with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience in contract negotiation and legal risk management.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills to address legal challenges effectively.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to legal problem-solving
