They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated corporate lawyer with a strong background in complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.

Job Description



  • Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.


  • Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and risks relating to corporate and commercial matters.


  • Draft, review, and negotiate high-level corporate documents such as transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and shareholder agreements.


  • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support transaction strategies.


  • Stay current on legal and regulatory developments relevant to corporate law.


  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals, including training and reviewing their work.


  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.


  • Uphold high standards of legal ethics and maintain client confidentiality.



The Successful Applicant



  • Malaysian-qualified lawyer with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law.


  • Strong track record handling complex corporate transactions independently or with minimal supervision.


  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.


  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work under tight deadlines.


  • Strong leadership qualities and an interest in mentoring junior team members.


  • Client-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
