The Senior GL Specialist will manage and oversee the general ledger and accounting operations of a large-scale manufacturing organization. This role is crucial in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Job Description

Support and participate in month-end closing activities, with a focus on the newly established entity in Pune, India.

Perform intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and alignment across entities.

Coordinate with external consultants on matters related to GST, withholding tax, and income tax filings.

Record and review general ledger entries to ensure proper financial documentation.

Manage month-end closing processes and prepare financial reports.

Perform account reconciliations using Blackline.

Respond to audit queries and assist in the preparation of supporting schedules.

Generate various ad hoc management reports and contribute to special projects as needed.

The Successful Applicant

· Degree in Accounting or Finance.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.

· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency with company-wide ERP systems.

· Preferred knowledge of SAP.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
