Job Description

  • Oversee and execute all aspects of the month-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial data into the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Review and analyze GL accounts to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in transitioning financial operations from the regional office to the Shared Service Centre.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to standardize and streamline accounting processes across regions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding financial performance and month-end activities.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
  • Support external audit processes by providing accurate and timely financial data.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for finance operations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) is an advantage.
  • 5-7 years of experience in GL accounting, preferably in a Shared Service environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A doer mentality with a high level of commitment and accountability in delivering results
