Job Description

  • Develop and drive DevOps and release strategies for a large‑scale Salesforce Sales & Service implementation
  • Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Git, SFDX/sf CLI, validation deployments, automated testing, quality gates)
  • Define environment strategy, branching model, release governance, approvals, and rollback/hotfix processes
  • Diagnose and resolve deployment challenges (metadata conflicts, test failures, permission issues) while continuously improving stability and speed
  • Uphold DevOps standards including PR policies, coding/deployment best practices, secrets management, and audit requirements

The Successful Applicant

A successful **Senior DevOps Engineer** should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Delivery platform development and deployment processes, preferably a min of 5 years of experience in Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining Salesforce CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Git, SFDX/sf CLI).
  • Strong grasp of Salesforce deployment mechanisms (metadata, sandboxes/environments, Apex tests & coverage, dependencies, rollback/hotfix strategies)
  • Proficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and familiar with build tools and artifact handling
  • Experience implementing quality gates and code validation (automated tests, static analysis, PR standards)
  • Knowledge of authentication mechanisms and secrets management tools (e.g., Key Vault or similar)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical abilities and capable of collaborating with developers, admins, QA, and solution architects
