Job Description

  • Identifying, assessing and mitigating credit risks within the company.
  • Developing and implementing credit risk policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing and approving credit applications based on the company's risk policies.
  • Monitoring and reporting on credit risk exposures and breaches.
  • Conducting stress testing and scenario analysis.
  • Collaborating with other departments to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Keeping up to date with regulations affecting credit risk management.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of risk management systems and practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Credit Risk (Senior Specialist)' should have:

  • An advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk methodologies, models and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and databases.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for the Business Services industry.
