Our client is a large PLC who is continuously seeking for talented individual to join their growing team.

Job Description



  • Evaluate and review corporate proposals, funding initiatives, and capital raising activities to ensure alignment with the company's corporate strategy.
  • Prepare and conduct valuations of target companies using various methodologies, including the development of feasibility studies and financial models/projections.
  • Develop merger and acquisition (M&A) structuring models, including financial restructuring and detailed financial models. This encompasses pre- and post-transaction business models, cash flow projections, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and assessing the financial impact on group results for valuation and due diligence purposes.
  • Formulate schemes for corporate proposals, negotiating terms and structures that adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Address and resolve issues related to the proposals, offering solutions
  • Prepare and review all documentation related to corporate proposals, including presentation materials, legal documents, board papers, shareholder announcements, and circulars.Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure all corporate finance activities comply with the latest standards set by Bursa Malaysia, the Securities Commission, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate activities with internal cross-functional teams and collaborate with external professionals, including investment bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, auditors, and tax advisors
  • Oversee the execution of corporate exercises, ensuring they are carried out according to the agreed terms and structure, and manage activities through to completion.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in accountancy, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Min of 8 to 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in corporate finance within a merchant banking environment, PLC, or a Big Four audit firm.
  • Possess good writing and presentation skills with the ability to structure investment and corporate finance proposals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, ability to drive and function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
