Job Description

  • Drive sales performance in the assigned region by meeting and exceeding sales targets, expanding market share, and ensuring product availability across key retail and distribution channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major customers, distributors, and retail partners to ensure long-term business success and product visibility.
  • Mentor, coach, and motivate the field sales team to achieve individual and team targets while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Track key performance indicators, analyse sales data, and provide regular reports to senior management, adjusting strategies as needed for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement in-store promotions, product displays, and merchandising strategies that enhance brand visibility and sales.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in FMCG sales, with a track record of consistently achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring targets are met.
  • Expertise in route-to-market strategies and a deep understanding of the Johor Bahru market dynamics, enabling successful sales growth and market share expansion.
  • Skilled in sales data analysis, tracking KPIs, and using insights to drive improvements in sales performance and market strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with a customer-centric mindset focused on long-term business success.
