You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of outstanding payments. This role supports North America time zone and working days.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage a designated portfolio of accounts, including high-value and complex cases. Monitor account statuses and implement effective collection strategies. Address and resolve billing disputes, discrepancies, and customer complaints. Escalate issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Engage with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on overdue payments, negotiate payment plans, and resolve issues. Work closely with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to address account issues and provide comprehensive solutions. Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on collection activities, account statuses, and aging reports. Analyze trends and suggest improvements to collection processes.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of collection procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all collection practices adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in collections or a similar financial role, with a proven track record in managing accounts and resolving complex issues.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced communication, negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Operating knowledge of ERP system - Oracle.
