Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Production and Quality Management: Oversee all aspects of production, focusing on improving yield and quality.
  • New Product Integration: Lead the transfer of new products, test programs, and systems into production.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze assembly and final test data to identify and implement immediate corrective and preventative actions.
  • Customer-Centric Engineering: Act as a direct liaison with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and translate insights into product and process improvements.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet key performance indicators for cost, productivity, and quality to support the overall product roadmap.
  • Team Leadership: Formulate and lead a team to achieve departmental goals. This includes training, developing, and retaining staff while maximizing available resources.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the section's budget and resources to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Technical Guidance: Guide the team in developing technical solutions and maintaining a competitive edge.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead or participate in company-wide, cross-functional projects.



The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of professional work experience, with at least 5-8 years in the semiconductor industry. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Product Definition: Experience in defining product requirements and specifications.
    • Yield Analysis: Proven ability to analyze and improve manufacturing yield.
    • Wafer Process: Strong knowledge of wafer fabrication and general semiconductor principles.
    • Testing: Expertise in ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) and SLT (System-Level Test) methodologies.
    • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from start to finish.
