Job Description

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve ambitious growth and performance targets.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and support individual development through regular feedback and coaching.
  • Translate client objectives, market insight, and data into clear, actionable sales strategies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, proactive problem‑solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with the client and key travel trade partners.
  • Diagnose partner business needs and create tailored solutions and value propositions.
  • Grow account penetration and share of wallet by clearly articulating delivered value.
  • Manage a personal sales portfolio through meetings, webinars, telesales, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Represent the client at tradeshows, exhibitions, and partner engagements.
  • Identify, prioritise, onboard, and develop high‑potential travel agent partners.
  • Use data and analytics to understand market dynamics and guide decisions.
  • Develop market‑specific sales and marketing plans aligned with broader client goals.
  • Work cross‑functionally with customer support, technology teams, and regional markets to ensure operational alignment.
  • Contribute to internal strategy discussions and process improvements.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the travel industry, ideally in sales or account leadership roles.
  • Speaks Mandarin
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, and influencing skills.
  • Highly analytical, confident working with data to shape strategies and recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across face‑to‑face and virtual channels.
  • Experienced in diagnosing partner needs and converting insights into commercial opportunities.
  • Comfortable multitasking and managing competing priorities.
