Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging insights into market trends and customer needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements that align with business objectives and profitability standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that address client challenges.
  • Stay updated on market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends to refine strategic initiatives.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance metrics to leadership teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Manager - Oil & Gas should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of successful sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry, ideally with expertise in flow control or related products.
  • A proven record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas industry trends, market dynamics, and customer requirements.
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation, communication, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and analyzing sales data.
  • Flexibility to travel as required to meet business objectives.
