About Our Client

Our client is currently seeking a Sales Manager who will drive sales growth and foster strategic partnerships within the stone sector across SEA markets. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in meeting sales targets, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding my client's market presence in the stone industry.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the Sales Director and your main responsibilities include:

  • Achieve sales targets related to turnover and profitability as per the budget.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team.
  • Develop an annual work plan, including visits to current and potential customers and distributors, and introductory visits to headquarters.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Promote the sale of the company's machinery and manage goal attainment.
  • Assess customer solvency with due diligence, noting that the final order approval lies with the company.
  • Analyze and address the strengths and weaknesses of the company to enhance performance, providing the Malaysia sales team with comprehensive knowledge of company's machinery and competitive lines.
  • Collaborate with the Malaysia Sales Team and distributor network to develop and implement a sales strategy that maximizes benefits from the dealer network.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in the machinery and industrial sectors.
  • Experience in the glass market is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a strong distribution network of dealers and customers in the assigned areas.
  • Capability to work remotely and independently within larger reporting lines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and knowledge.
