Conduct thorough analysis of account balances to verify accuracy and ensure compliance with J-GAAP, US GAAP, and statutory adjustments as part of the accounting close process. Provide clear justification for necessary adjustments to ensure reserves and accruals are accurately reflected. Identify potential accounting system issues and recommend process improvements to ensure the timely, accurate, and reliable delivery of financial data. Prepare fluctuation analysis for quarterly and annual audits, offering explanations and resolving any open issues with external auditors. Ensure all SOX key controls are effectively completed within your scope, providing well-documented, audit-ready evidence to prevent significant audit issues from internal or external auditors. Contribute to departmental projects that align with overall objectives.
