Their focus encompasses Renewable Energy Solutions, Networks, Thermal & Supply, and they are expanding their workforce to over 100,000 employees across the globe.Currently, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee projects and business opportunities in the assigned region.Job DescriptionThe Business Development Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Business Development and the Managing Director. This role is responsible for managing the P&L and sales targets for the assigned region while expanding the company's business footprint. Key responsibilities include:Taking ownership and acting as the lead or bid manager throughout the entire business development cycle for clients in the respective region.Identifying project leads through established networks with industrial players, consultants, contractors, and more.Leading the complete project development cycle, including client engagement, solution development, assessing commercial viability, crafting proposal strategies, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts.Developing winning strategies while guiding and directing internal support functions such as technical, finance, and legal teams.Customizing financial models and tariff structures to align with client preferences.Preparing business proposals for management approval.Drafting and submitting project proposals while managing client engagement until contracts are awarded.Initiating, co-organizing, and attending marketing events, including conferences and seminars.Ensuring that the project monitoring tool is comprehensive and up to date.Providing weekly reports to local management and activity updates to the regional business development community.The Successful ApplicantA minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy, industrial facility management, power projects, or related infrastructure project development.Proven experience in the design, development, or management of energy projects, including biogas/biomass systems and thermal/cooling systems for industrial plants.
