About Our Client

My client is a reputable organization within the chemical industry. They are currently seeking for a potential candidate to be part of their growing business.

Job Description

  • Lead and perform maintenance tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Assist Engineers in Plant Turnaround Management, oversee all site maintenance activities, and directly supervise critical machinery maintenance.
  • Aid Engineers in developing repair strategies by analyzing operating and repair manuals, acquiring failure data, and preparing maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
  • Provide recommendations for improving repair cycles, forecast manpower needs, estimate outage durations, and evaluate cost-effective alternatives for timely equipment repairs.
  • Supervise the completion of maintenance work, assist the team with complex tasks, and perform quality inspections as necessary.
  • Coordinate with external service specialists, contractors, and vendors, as needed, and lead maintenance supervisors and fitters in their tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor work areas, and inspect tools and equipment used by the maintenance team, ensuring quality and specification compliance.
  • Support reliability-related functions by assisting with root cause analysis, coordinating condition-based maintenance, and training maintenance personnel in advanced skills and safety practices.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of chemical, industrial gases, or manufacturing environments.
