We are looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Regional Sales Manager based in Kuala Lumpur to lead and grow our client's line of specialty chemicals across the region. This role offers the chance to drive end-to-end sales strategy, new business development, and customer management in a dynamic and innovation-driven environment.

Job Description

  • Lead and execute sales strategies, distribution channels, and customer management plans for the polyols business.
  • Optimize value chain cost and pricing strategy to drive profitability.
  • Drive product development efforts, roadshows, exhibitions, and feedback loops with marketing and R&D.
  • Formulate and manage annual sales plans and forecasts aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure robust supply planning, inventory management, and contract negotiation.
  • Build strategic alliances with key stakeholders across the value chain.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure data accuracy, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote good governance, compliance, and uphold HSE & ethical standards.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Regional Sales Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in chemical applications, preferably in surface science, polyurethane chemistry, or CASE applications.
  • Strong techno-commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and customer profiling.
  • High fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a massive advantage for effective APAC coverage.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, and business reporting tools.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
