Job Description

  • Lead procurement activities for large projects in APAC
  • Manage end-to-end procurement process: sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and PO management
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company and project goals
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and quality
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues promptly
  • Analyze spend data and market trends to drive cost savings and optimize decisions
  • Support proposal team during project costing phases
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across APAC and globally
  • Coordinate with corporate procurement to leverage global supplier contracts
  • Support implementation of procurement systems and ensure compliance and procurement policy
  • Uphold quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout procurement processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of procurement experience, including 5+ years in the EPC industry (Water industry preferred)
  • Regional experience in Southeast Asia (SEA) and Australia/New Zealand (ANZ)
  • Proven experience working in a multinational corporation with regional responsibilities
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and contract management
  • Strong understanding of project execution and engineering equipment
  • Proficient in ERP systems (preferably Oracle JD Edwards) and supply chain software
  • Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management
  • Proficient in Google Suite and adaptable to multicultural, multi-site environments
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
