Seeking an experienced and strategic engineering professional to lead the development and implementation of our integrity and inspection program across the APAC region. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of critical assets through structured integrity management systems, oversight of regional teams, and alignment with global standards.

Our client is an established MNC in the industrial solutions. They are expanding their team and are looking for high capability individuals to join their team.

Job Description

  • Serve as the APAC focal point for integrity and inspection programs, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve the region's integrity management system, including the selection and deployment of digital tools.
  • Provide leadership and support to Regional Business Unit (RBU) Integrity Leads and operations teams to ensure consistent program execution.
  • Review and endorse technical assessments and inspection reports, ensuring adherence to standards and sound engineering judgment.
  • Offer guidance on inspection strategies, non-invasive technologies, and risk-based inspection methodologies to optimize uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with reliability, process safety, and engineering experts internally, as well as external third-party specialists.
  • Analyze inspection data and performance metrics to identify trends, forecast risk, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Support RBUs in preparing annual budgets related to inspection, integrity, and equipment reliability.
  • Present integrity performance insights to stakeholders through dashboards and executive-level reporting.
  • Ensure program compliance with international standards (e.g., API, ASME), national regulations, accreditation schemes, and corporate HSE policies.
  • Conduct audits of regional integrity teams and projects to ensure consistent application of best practices and program requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline.
  • Min. 10 years of experience in mechanical integrity, risk-based inspection, or in-service inspection (excluding routine NDT roles).
  • Proven leadership experience in a regional or global asset integrity or inspection role, preferably within the industrial gas, chemical, or energy sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pressure systems, pipeline integrity, inspection codes, and equipment fitness-for-service evaluations.
  • Experience managing and qualifying third-party inspection vendors.
  • Familiarity with integrity management software platforms and digital tools is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel within APAC and occasionally globally (approx. 25%).
