Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects across the region.
  • Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regional regulations in all procurement processes.
  • Prepare and manage budgets related to CAPEX procurement activities.
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on procurement performance and project progress.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Category Manager - (CAPEX) should have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of CAPEX procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regional procurement regulations and compliance.
