Being part of a listed MNC, they've been the industry leader for many years and is currently looking for a Regional Business Development Director to help drive business growth & expansion across the region.

Job Description

As the Regional Business Development Director, you will be reporting directly to the Regional GM and will be expected to drive business development, acquiring new clients across SEA & key account management. Among the many responsibilities some are listed below:

  • Strategizing and executing business development plans & sales strategies across SEA
  • Lead & coach the regional sales team to improve performance level and to focus on company's growth & profitability
  • Drive revenue growth, maintain & expand existing revenue streams
  • Being accountable for the month, quarter & annual sales target and ensure they are consistently achieved
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service and other internal stakeholders to optimise marketing strategies, analysing of market trends and data besides delivering effective value propositions
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationship & business partnering with local & regional divisional internal stakeholders, strategic suppliers and external partnerships

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be confident in leading the business and steering the company to the most profitable position while implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals. It's critical you have an all-rounded experience and must possess the requirements below:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Management, Business or related field) with a minimum 12 years of relevant sales experience with the most recent 3 years in a management/Head of Department position
  • Prior regional experience in handling clients across Southeast Asia/APAC is a must, and has worked in related industries-Technology, Data, Information Services
  • Proven track record in successfully achieving sales target & driving sales team
  • Excellent organizational, communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Active leadership skills, good team player and able to be hands on whenever needed to
