The main responsibility of this role is to manage Product Costing activities and support Group Management and Statutory Reporting according to our customer agreements. This includes providing financial information for Sales & Operation Planning meetings, forecasts, budgets, and actuals. The role involves coordinating data inputs, running the forecasting process, preparing financial information.

Job Description

  • Monitor and control Product Costing processes and systems to ensure accurate accounting and system controls.
  • Handle accounting policy inquiries, ad hoc reporting, and analysis requests; provide regular customer/site training.
  • Proactively fulfill and enhance customer needs and relationships through active involvement and interaction.
  • Develop and assist in automating processes with innovative technical solutions.
  • Support SAP User Access Management.
  • Maintain accurate standard operating procedures and support control documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with global process owners on reporting changes, including business specifications, training, and user testing for enhancements.
  • Review and validate financial and management data to identify data integrity issues.
  • Understand financial processes and systems, ensuring adequate internal controls are in place.
  • Serve as a Single Point of Contact for global and regional stakeholders.
  • Actively deliver Product Costing CoE activities and promptly report issues to the Regional Head of Ops Finance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in a relevant field with a professional accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic environment.
  • Work shifts during month-end will be from 3 PM to 12 AM to support other regions' working hours. An allowance will be provided as compensation
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and practices.
  • Proficient in analyzing reports, identifying issues, and understanding report functionalities and data.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance tools and systems, particularly BI/BPC, SAP (FI, CO, and MM modules), or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Ability to drive projects and process improvements while managing a remote customer base.
  • Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and independent.
  • Skilled in identifying risks and implementing controls.
  • Proven people leadership experience.
