Job Description

Business Process Management

* Provide internal customers with advice and support on business process management, modeling, and documentation using expertise and best practices.

Business Process Architecture (BPA)

* Identify and deliver improvements for processes and systems proactively.

* Build strong relationships with internal customers and suppliers.

* Support skill development in process management and continuous improvement.

* Understand and align with the client's BPA Model, processes, and compliance regulations.

* Ensure new developments align with existing setups and future roadmaps.

* Maintain coherence in Business Process Architecture and follow best practices.

* Stay updated on industry trends, technology solutions, and process automation.

* Promote a digital culture and open communication to foster collaboration.

* Contribute to the area's objectives and goals.

Project Management

* Apply project management methods for planning, design, testing, and implementation of process changes.

* Enhance project management practices based on project type.

* Lead organizational projects when needed.

* Document and validate functional requirements for technical solutions.

* Manage external teams for project work as necessary.

The Successful Applicant

Education

* A business and/or computer science related degree with expertise in processes and systems thinking
* Project Management education / certification
* Ideally six sigma black belt / lean or other business process performance / continuous improvement education / certification

Experience

* 5 or more years of hands-on experience in business process improvement and business process projects environment, preferably in a mineral, or bulk material processing industry.

Knowledge and Skills

* Proven experience in successfully leading business projects and work streams to improve quality and performance
* The talent to work conceptionally and to think analytically working in a structured way to solve complex problems
* Strong experience and hands-on skills in combining analysis, consulting and operational implementation of business processes
* Strong analytical skills, leveraging a solid Statistical and Mathematical knowledge
* Able to design and deploy performance manage ment systems
understanding measurement systems (PIs, KPIs, SLAs, OLAs) and their relationship with business operation, and business results. All in a logic of quality systems, continuous improvement, and increase productivity.
* Traditional or agile project management experience in middle to large projects, with certification in at least one method
* Knowledge of change management principles and methods to deploy business solutions
* Stakeholder management skills, alliances builder with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
* English spoken & written, other languages a plus
* Good understanding of human collaboration and the underlying human cognitive mechanisms
* Good communication skills with excellent presentation, moderation, and workshop facilitation skills
* A solid knowledge and hands-on experience business process modelling techniques, tools, and best practices
* Good competence level in business process modelling (BPMN) using either Visio or ARIS (Software AG) - ARIS is a plus

Other requirements

* Ability and willingness to travel up to ~25% to sites and regional offices globally if needed
* Hybrid work, 3 days per week in the office (Kuala Lumpur, MY)
