Job Description

  • Manage daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance processes.
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the plant team to meet organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production with market demands.
  • Oversee the maintenance of equipment and recommend upgrades when necessary.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Manager should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in plant operations within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Well versed with LEAN, Six Sigma or TPM
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
