Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring productivity targets are met
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective production and quality control
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations
  • Manage budgets and financial planning for the plant
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients to maintain strong business relationships
  • Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback
  • Coordinate with HR to recruit, train, and retain a competent workforce

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Manager should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or related field
  • Prior experience in a managerial role within the FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
