About Our Client

Our client is a globally recognized leader in household products and is in the process of establishing operations in Malaysia.

They are currently seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and manage the operations for both the Malaysia and Singapore markets.

Job Description

  • Manage operations in MY & SG markets.
  • Responsible for overseeing warehousing, customs, distribution, and repair processes to ensure optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with legal obligations. T
  • Managing day-to-day operations, collaborating with third-party providers for quality control
  • Coordinating with internal departments to meet operational goals and maintain inventory.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee inventory levels.
  • Lead a team of repair technicians in Malaysia and Singapore, promoting continuous improvement and ensuring smooth delivery of materials.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in operations and procurement management.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain standards, including legal, customs, and market requirements.
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude towards tackling day-to-day tasks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
  • Leadership capabilities with effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Flexible mindset and adaptability, with required travel between Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; additional languages are an advantage
