With a commitment to innovation and quality, this company is known for its significant impact on the industry.Job DescriptionPerformance Management:Develop and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that align operational activities with company goals.Review, analyze, and explain variances to plans (standard costs), prior year, and current year, ensuring all thresholds are met.Analyze business data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.Evaluate operating processes and recommend improvements for efficiency.Monitor and manage monthly expenditures to ensure they stay within planned and approved levels.Interpret complex financial data and operational activities.Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate monthly reporting for asset management.Oversee Inventory management, ensuring accurate monthly reporting.Suggest improvement ideas to reduce costs, optimize working capital, and minimize waste and obsolescence.Reporting, Analysis, Process Improvements, and Projects:Review operating results before closing to minimize errors and ensure accuracy.Ensure reports meet user expectations, are complete, and adhere to deadlines.Prepare performance management presentations and track action items, following up as needed.Provide quality and timely financial reports for operational decisions, facilitating business and finance team support.Lead automation initiatives and drive process improvement projects.Meet all reporting requirements and deadlines.Conduct in-depth product cost evaluation and analysis.Perform ad-hoc analyses as required by business needs.Budgeting & Planning:Prepare and maintain standard costs and cost center planning activities.Assist in setting annual targets and budgets.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.Collaborate with Operations to manage the yearly Capex plan and quarterly Capex forecasts.Perform complex analysis and create tools to enhance planning and reporting processes.Controls & Compliance:Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls.Recommend and implement improvements in internal control processes.Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process.Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.The Successful ApplicantA successful Specialist, Operations Controller should have:Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.Professional accountancy certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.Experience:3 to 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, or experience in controlling.Knowledge and Skills:SAP experience is a must.Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to work.Ability to take ownership and achieve goals.Capability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure.Strong communication and organizational skills.What's on OfferA competitive salary within the range of 108,000 - 120,000 MYROpportunity to work in a hybrid work environmentComprehensive benefits packageExciting career progression opportunities in a large organizationA collaborative and supportive work cultureStart your journey with us as a Specialist, Operations Controller in our Kuala Lumpur office.
