With increasing demand and new product introductions, they are currently looking for a Operational Procurement team lead to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue their current growth.
Job Description
- Leadership and development of operational procurement team members
- Training the team towards required process tasks in operational procurement
- Support and drive automation/digitalization innovations where affected
- Identify potential improvement across processes and engage with relevant stakeholders to propose improvement and implement changes
- Ensure purchase order processing, request for quotation and complaint management
- Coordination of supplier selection, requirements and prices with responsible lead buyer or category manager
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement/Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Procurement, Supply Chain and/or technical position
- Working experience in Shared Service Centre environment is an added advantage
- Previous experience in leading and managing a team
- Good speaking, writing and reading skills in English and in Mandarin
- Proficiency in Office 365 with special focus on Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word with ability to manage and dissect large data sets
- SAP system or Ariba knowledge
