Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal management.
  • Manage gynaecological conditions ranging from routine women's health issues to complex reproductive disorders.
  • Perform O&G procedures and surgeries (elective and emergency) in accordance with clinical best practices.
  • Deliver evidence‑based care for high‑risk pregnancies and urgent obstetric situations.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient management.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and allied health personnel.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with hospital policies, and uphold patient safety standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical governance activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Registered Medical Practitioner with recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (e.g., Master's O&G, MRCOG, equivalent).
  • Full or eligible registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and NSR
  • Proven clinical experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology, including emergency management.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient‑engagement skills.
  • Aims to deliver high‑quality care.
