Job Description

  • Lead and manage technicians and operators to achieve production, quality, and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure machinery setup, upkeep, and reliability through autonomous and preventive maintenance.
  • Oversee production activities to meet output, efficiency, yield, and quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with FSMS, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, support, and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform hands‑on technical tasks when required.
  • Implement and monitor preventive and Total Productive Maintenance to minimise downtime and improve OEE.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, tracking, replenishment, and supplier coordination.
  • Allocate manpower and resources effectively across shifts, including conducting clear shift handovers.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance processes.
  • Mentor and develop team members while identifying training needs for skill enhancement.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental requirements, including ISO 14001 and SHE standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering field.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in dairy, beverage, UHT, or FMCG industries.
  • Strong knowledge of TPM, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with FSMS standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP requirements.
  • Able to supervise technical staff and manage shift‑based production activities.
  • Good understanding of safety and environmental standards such as ISO 14001.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and perform hands‑on tasks when needed.
