Job Description

As the Master Data Analyst - Vendor and/or Customer, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Timely and Accurate Data Management - Ensure the prompt and accurate processing of additions, changes, and deactivations of vendor and/or customer master data records, adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Data Quality Assurance - Validate that data inputs align with defined standards and meet required levels of completeness, maintaining a commitment to data quality.
  • Performance Reporting - Generate data performance reports, evaluating key quality measures such as completeness, consistency, uniqueness, and accuracy to ensure adherence to data standards.
  • Process Enhancement - Identify and implement process and solution requirements for continuous improvement in the master data management process, contributing to operational efficiency.
  • Issue Tracking and Resolution - Respond to outstanding master data management issues, escalating to higher authorities based on agreed trigger points for resolution and feedback.
  • Continuous Improvement - Identify and contribute to addressing defective trends or areas of process performance weakness within the end-to-end process, actively participating in the enhancement of overall efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a finalist pursuing a professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Vendor & Customer master data management, process control, and process improvement.
  • Proven experience with JDE, Salesforce, and SAP is crucial.
  • Strong ability to communicate, engaging personality and collaborative working style.
  • Resilient problem solver and able to work independently.
  • Previous experience in a shared service centre would be advantageous.
