About Our Client

Our client is a well‑established multinational manufacturing organisation supporting the global semiconductor and advanced electronics industry. They specialise in complex, high‑reliability equipment assemblies and are known for strong engineering capabilities, operational discipline, and continuous improvement culture.

Job Description

  • Lead end‑to‑end box build manufacturing, including assembly, integration, testing, and shipment of semiconductor equipment.
  • Deliver QCDS targets through effective production planning, manpower optimisation, and capacity readiness.
  • Develop and execute production plans to support customer demand and ramp‑up requirements.
  • Drive manufacturing quality improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain on DFM, ECO implementation, and material readiness.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, yield, and cost.
  • Track and analyse KPIs such as on‑time delivery, first‑pass yield, cycle time, and labour productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS, ISO standards, and customer semiconductor requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, engineers, and operators to build a high‑performance manufacturing team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 8-12 years of manufacturing experience, including 3-5 years in a management role.
  • Strong background in semiconductor or capital equipment box build manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in high‑mix, low‑volume production environments.
  • Solid exposure to metal box build assembly (e.g. power boxes, PDUs, industrial enclosures).
  • Knowledge of metal welding, coating/plating requirements, and ability to interpret detailed product drawings.
  • Experience with electrical and functional testing for box build products.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and structured problem‑solving.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
  • Strong GD&T proficiency is essential.
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification is a strong advantage.
