Job Description

  • Oversee and manage a team of Associates, supporting and collaborating with the team to ensure stability, growth, and success.
  • Manage and train team members on different forms of payments and help them to become efficient using various banking systems.
  • Help with the coordination of resources and make sure that appropriate cross training and coverage is in place to meet client service level agreements.
  • Ensure all processes are performed following operational controls and all relevant checklists are completed.
  • Ensure the accuracy of payments prepared by their team and take accountability for meeting service level agreement deadlines.
  • Work with other Settlement Solutions teams globally and other internal teams such as CO and banking to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Identify any risks or gaps in processes and work with management and the team to implement a better process.
  • Participate in multiple system initiatives and projects and contribute to idea generation for future process or technological improvements. Expected to participate on both a local and global level.
  • Respond to all client queries.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have relevant experience working within the Payments field.
  • Strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly an asset.
  • Understanding of fund administration industry.
  • Understanding of Fund Expense processes, including fee calculation and billing activities.
  • Experience with fund accounting platforms and banking payment platforms is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Swift Payment processing, including payment formatting and field definitions a distinct advantage.
