Job Description

  • Provide legal advisory services on banking and finance-related matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate finance documents and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and legal standards.
  • Support clients in structuring and executing financial transactions.
  • Conduct legal research to provide accurate and thorough advice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and dispute resolutions when necessary.
  • Stay updated on developments in banking and finance laws and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate (Banking & Finance) should have:

  • A degree in Law and a valid legal practicing certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years of PQE and above
  • Experience in corporate banking & finance, Islamic Finance and Debt Capital Market.
  • Strong knowledge of banking and finance regulations and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
