Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating contracts to secure favourable terms.Procurement Strategy & Planning: Support the development and execution of procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Analyze departmental needs to create effective sourcing plans, factoring in risk assessments for optimal procurement decisions.Purchasing Operations & Cost Control: Manage purchase orders and contracts with accuracy in pricing, quantity, and terms. Monitor pricing trends and conduct cost-benefit analyses to drive cost efficiency while maintaining product quality.Quality & Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure materials and services meet required standards. Address supplier-related quality issues promptly and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations, including health and safety compliance.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Insight: Work closely with internal stakeholders including engineering, production, quality, finance, and logistics to ensure seamless procurement processes.
