Job Description

  • Develop and implement operational risk management frameworks and policies.
  • Monitor and assess operational risks across banking and financial services operations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure risk management practices are adhered to.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and lead risk-related training sessions for employees.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance within the organization.
  • Investigate operational incidents and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful lead, Operational Risk should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of operational risk frameworks (Any industry is considered).
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and evaluate risks effectively.
  • Experience in preparing detailed risk assessment reports.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the banking and financial services sector is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
