About Our Client

My client is a Digital Advertising & Marketing company, where the HQ is based in UK. As the demand within the industry grows, our client is steadily growing by expanding their regional operations in APAC region. As part of Global Technology Transformation programme, the EUC team require an experienced Identity & Access Engineer to join its Kuala Lumpur based agile team.

This role will report into the Identity & Access Manager and will be responsible for the service management and technical delivery of work across the areas of Directory Services (AD & AAD), SSO products and Identity Management.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of Identity & Access services within a Service Management framework and in line with the agreed standards and Service Levels

  • Responsible for managing the resolution of incidents and any escalated issues from L2 support for Identity & Access services

  • Represent when required, the Identity & Access services in Change Advisory Board meetings, Service Review meetings and the Architecture Review Board

  • Contribute to fostering a practice of collaboration and continuous improvement within the Identity & Access team

  • Contribute to identifying and undertaking Service Improvements

  • To ensure all Identity & Access Services are designed, implemented and maintained to the correct architectural and technical best practice specifications

  • Be a key stakeholder in determining whether a new release, affecting service in production, is ready for promotion

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of updates or solutions to the Identity & Access environment

  • Possess a detailed understanding of all Identity & Access services and the associated infrastructure

  • To operate in line with the IT Operating Model and Values and to promote these within the Identity & Access Team

  • To contribute to the Identity & Access strategy and service/product roadmap

  • To drive operational excellence across Identity & Access Services

The Successful Applicant

  • Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant field.

  • Ideally Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Messaging) or equivalent qualifications and experience.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, AD On-Prem, Azure AD and Powershell.



  • Excellent working knolwedge of SSO - Okta/PingOne/Ping Identity/SailPoint.

- Enterprise Directory Services (AD)- Cloud Directory Services (Azure AD)- Synchronisation (AAD Connect)- Group Policy

- Windows Server- Enterprise Certificate Services- Identity and Access Management, Identity provisioning, Self-Service Password Reset, MFA- Application SSO Identity provisioning, System Integration- DNS

  • In-depth expertise in supporting Active Directory in large complex environments

  • Excellent Identity & Access troubleshooting skills and knowledge of problem resolution methodologies

  • Good knowledge of IT Security protocols, processes, policies and standards

  • Experienced in IT service management, including change, incident and problem management

  • Demonstration of the technical skills needed to handle innovation and change resulting from the implementation of new IT solutions
