Job Description

  • Utilize ServiceNow ITSM platform to resolve Level 2 incidents and fulfill service requests within established SLAs
  • Handle installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and upgrades of IT hardware and related applications to ensure optimal system performance, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations
  • Provide administration and support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft Azure tools (including Entra, Defender, Autopilot), VMware, Office 365
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, for assigned equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and availability of IT services and equipment
  • Manage and support hardware and peripherals, including imaging and maintenance for both onsite and remote users
  • Procure, configure, and support Apple and Android mobile devices
  • Oversee the administration and support of local printing systems and video conferencing tools
  • Assist Infrastructure Management team with server operations, communications systems, and routine hardware maintenance
  • Participate in testing and updating local Disaster Recovery plans in alignment with business continuity requirements
  • Lead improvement initiatives, created technical documentation, and IT performance reporting.
  • Support IT and Information Security initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Support Engineer (L2) should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in IT end-user computing and infrastructure support
  • Proficient in Windows 10/ 11 desktop operating systems
  • Skilled in managing Windows Server environments, Microsoft Azure Suite, and file servers
  • Experienced with Microsoft 365 and Intune, including Entra and Defender
  • Familiar with Active Directory administration
  • Knowledgeable in web filtering tools
  • Experienced in daily operations of communication rooms
  • Proficient with standard desktop software including BitLocker, web browsers, and VPN tools
  • Understanding of telecom and unified communication systems
  • Competent in network diagnostics and troubleshooting, including PC and peripheral configurations, as well as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP connectivity
  • Strong grasp of IT Service Management principles across Incident, Change, and Configuration Management processes
