Job Description

  • Reviews open Incidents and Request Tasks to determine who and how the incidents should be handled
  • Incidents wrongly routed to our group should be forwarded/e-mailed to the correct team if known (e.g. Certification Issues ---> Cyber Defense, BEO, Travel Portal, Editorial links), or if not, forwarded to the (HP) Coordination & Reassignment group.
  • Provides the needed information to Request a Domain or Subdomains, requested from the user
  • Creates tickets in IT Service Portal for short URLs assignment to the long URLs and reverts to the user
  • Creates Sites Collections
  • Creates Evonik´s InTERnet and InTRAnet pages structure, creating: Menu Point, Contact Flag, Contact Set, Headlines, Portraits, Text blocks, Dropdown Menu, etc
  • Administrates Evonik´s Pages maintaining or correcting links
  • Assigns/Corrects links associated to buttons in the page like Youtube, LInkedin, Instagram, Contact form, etc
  • Adds new buttons like Youtube, LInkedin, Instagram in the pages
  • Documents, Contacts and Events administration in the page
  • Gives access rights to the users for Evonik´s pages
  • Adds new companies or plants to the telephone book
  • Adds or Removes fields in Evonik´s pages
  • Creates new pages if required
  • Proposes additional ideas for knowledge articles and assigns authors, reviewers and target dates. Publicizes the publication of new knowledge articles.

The Successful Applicant

Technical Skills Requirements

  • Desired knowledge in Internet Pages creation
  • Desired knowledge in Json language

Standard Requirements

  • Enthusiastic to work on rotation shifts (24/5), ROTA changes on monthly basis
  • University degree, preferably in the field IT, Business, Engineering or a comparable education
  • Good analytical and learning skills, ability to understand complex situations
  • Strong communication skills in both written and speaking.
  • A team player, meticulous, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Service oriented and ability to travel for possible know how transfer
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written in English.
  • Proficiency in German is an added advantage
